Instructions:
- Make your stencils

Ellipse – http://ow.ly/exFZs Bat logo – http://ow.ly/exGdo
- Tape stencils image side up behind individual acetate sheet
- On a cutting board and using your art knife cut out each image
- Screen print your T-shirt
- Insert a newspaper or a sheet of cardboard inside your T-shirt
- Lay T-shirt evenly on a flat, smooth surface
- Tape Ellipse stencil on the upper centre of T-shirt, making sure stencil is straight and aligned
- Tape pieces of newspaper around the stencil to ensure paint is confined to stencil space
- Scoop a small amount of yellow acrylic paint into paint tray
- With paintbrush, lightly daub paint onto your T-shirt, inside the Ellipse stencil
– Do not paint in a stroking motion as it is more likely to bleed outside of stencil
– Avoid using heavy amounts of paint, this will make it harder to dry and to remove stencil later - Using a hairdryer and on a low warm setting, dry paint
- Apply another layer of yellow paint and repeat drying procedure
- Repeat process until black shirt is concealed and Ellipse image is a bright, solid yellow
- When dry, carefully remove newspaper surrounding the Ellipse stencil and the stencil itself
- Place a sheet of baking paper over the painted Ellipse and with your iron on a hot, dry setting, iron over image for a good 20-30 seconds
– This will ensure paint is fastened to shirt to prevent paint from washing off in water - With the Bat logo stencil repeat Steps 1-11 using black acrylic paint
Once completely dry your shirt is ready to wear & show off!
Enjoy!
